Mini-FLUFFY – Docking Station Position Recognition System

A smart docking recognition system developed as part of the Mini-FLUFFY project. It enables automated connection between mobile units and workstations through sensors and a control platform. The goal is to improve accuracy, reduce human error, and make the process more efficient. The system also serves as an educational tool to study automation, data exchange, and responsible technology use.

Muscle tissue bio reactor

A Muscle tissue bio reactor in which implantable intercostal muscles can grow. This is done by stimulating the muscle with electrical and mechanical stimulation. First the muscle cells are mixed in with a hydrogel. This hydrogel is then stored inside a chamber. This chamber is then heated. The cells are stimulated and the motors start pushing and rotating. Eventually the muscle cells will attach themselves to the anchors.

HIL (hardware in the loop)

The technology consists of an electric kart test bench where a Siemens motor is used to simulate real-life driving resistance. Control inputs are generated using Simulink and Amesim models, which are executed in real time through the Speedgoat system. This allows accurate simulation and testing of vehicle behavior without the need for on-road testing.
