The goal of the questions below is to provoke an inspiring discussion on the impact of technology by using the public value compass. These question have no right or wrong answer, but are designed to help you think about all aspects of the impact. There are questions on general impact, humanity, autonomy and justice. The questions are specifically designed to operationalize a discussion on public values. Questions on things like open access, privacy and security are not part of this tool, because they are already adressed sufficiently in most institutions.
Use the buttons below to answer questions in 4 categories. Every question offers some sub questions that help you answer the questions. Together, the answers on the questions are a great starting point for a discussion on the (public) values of a certain Educational Technology. Questions can be answered by schools and suppliers alike. Please note, there are no right or wrong answers to the questions. It is not a checklist. The questions are designed to make you think.
